Fishing

The archipelago offers a variety of opportunities for fishing throughout the year.

Fishing starts as soon as the ice melts. You can catch white fish with a fishing rod from the platform at the seafront. Sea trouts enjoy the bays warmed by the sun where you can catch them by fly-fishing or angling.
As the water gets warmer, you will start catching perch and pike by a variety of means and the season lasts throughout the summer months.
As the autumn falls close the waters cool, which is the best fishing season in the archipelago. Perches and pike-perches are best caught with a hook and a line, pikes are caught by the rushes and giant pikes are found near rocks or shallows and are often caught by anglers. Sea trouts come close to the shore within easy reach of anglers and fly-fishers.

During the winter months you can enjoy ice fishing from a boator by boring through the ice.
Common catches include perch, pike, pike-perch and sea trout.
